David Beckham. One of the most attractive and most amazing soccer players ever. He tore is achilles tendon a couple of days ago and is out for the World Cup. Now I know this sucks for England but what is bad for England may be good for the USA. We are both in the same pod. I feel terribly that David won't be able to play for the World Cup and most of the MLS season but, I can't help but be a little be more optimistic for the US's chances in this year's Cup. Hopefully it won't be a carrer ender for David. I guess I'm selfish, but I would really like to see him play one of these days so I REALLY hope its not the end of the road for Beckham. Where to begin?
I coach cheerleading at Poky and we had our 5th District Cheer Competition in February and the girls did AWESOME!! They got two 2nds and a 1st and qualified for state in all three events! I am so happy for this great group of girls that I get to coach. They went through a lot the couple of weeks before competiton and they pulled it out with flying colors, I was so prroud. We have the State Competition in two weeks and I'm gettin nervous. Not because I think they will fail but because thats just how I am. When they perform, my heart beats a million miles a minute, I count every last count, and I scream and yell like a crazy person. Sounds weird, I know, but once they get on the competition floor there is nothing else I can do, say or teach, its all up to them. They have been doing so well this season and I can't wait for State!
Phil and I finally got new phones! YAY! We got the LG Chocolate Touch and I love it. I'm still getting used to the touch screen keyboard, but the camera is like 50 times better then my old crappy phone, so thats exciting! I still need to get some ringtones cause I don't like the boring ones that come with all phones. Not sure exactly what I want however. I'm really LOVING Michael Buble these days so he's bound to be a nice ringtone for me. And the Black Eyed Peas, they just make me want to dance!
For the past four days I have been sooo sick. I could have sworne I had strep throat but the doctors said no. To tell you the truth the doctors really didn't tell me anything...annoying. My throat was on fire, I thought my ears were going to explode, my head throbbed (but only when I would bend over or walk around) and my body couldn't decide on whether it wanted to be a million degrees or freezing. Oh and because of throat I sounded like a man. Phil, my cute little husband, took real good care of me though. He moved our spare TV and DVD player into our room so that I could just stay in bed and rest. He would always check on me while he was a work and made special grocery store runs for medicine we thought would help my illness and chocolate. I needed me some chocolate badly! He's such a little cutie and I love him to death! Oh, and I'm feeling a TON better today.
I am currently serving as the Laurel Advisor in my Ward's Young Women's and I am LOVING it. The girls are wonderful, they never stop amazing me. They all have such a beautiful spirit that eveytime I see their cute faces I just want to hug 'em! They are so willing to participate in lessons and voluteer to serve. I love it. At first I was really scared to teach, mostly because I didn't feel like I had enough knowledge to teach, but Heavenly Father is great. He always helps me get the point across. Since I've been teaching I have learned a lot too. The other leaders are awesome too. They all have such fun personalities and we all get along so well. I'm just loving this calling!
I'm excited for spring!!! I LOVE when I can just throw my ice scrapper in the trunk. Bring on the sunny skies and beautiful flowers! I know Phil is DYING to ride his bike everywhere. I'm mainly ready to be able to leave the house without having to wear a coat. I love spring and summer clothes and I just want to wear them. Especially flip flops. LOVE them.
Thanks for reading this VERY long post, but like I said before, its been a while. I had to cover all my bases! Love ya! :)

We will miss you Holiday Season...
We had a CRAZY Christmas. It started at my Mom's house on Christmas Eve night, which was pretty fun. Then we went to Phil's parents' house for crab leg dinner. Since the Johnson's do Christmas morning freaking early we had to our own Christmas at 6:30am so we could be at the in-laws by 8am. Phil got me this super cute little lap-top (which I am currently using!) and I LOVE IT! Its so miniature and cute! I got Phil an automatic car starter which has been very nice on these freezing cold wintry days. Anyway, we went to Rod and Suzie's and opened presents. We especially enjoy the complete series of That 70s Show that they got us! After an amazing breakfast with the missionaries, we went home to quickly change and go up to my Dad's house to open gifts there. We ate again, and then all headed to my Grandparent's house. We ate AGAIN and hung out with family for a while. By 10pm we were exhausted, so we went home and totally passed out. It was a great Christmas, a busy one, but a GREAT one!
New Years Eve was pretty eventful as well! We went to dinner with a bunch of friends and then headed up to the SUB for some good clean Mormon fun! We all danced the night away but right before mid-night we bounced and went to Shaun's house. We counted down the New Year and lit off a TON of fireworks. Let me give you a play by play...
1. place WAY too many fireworks in a box
2. drench the box, and fireworks, in gasoline
3. light the box on fire
4. take cover
Well, we were all laughing our butts off because fireworks were going EVERYWHERE! Then, Chuck decided to grab some Roman Candles and that was even funnier.
Needless to say, we had a great holiday season and I can't wait for the next one!

Well, now that you know about our Nursery, you need to know that we just got released. :( I'll be honest, I was pretty bumbed. I feel like I finally got the hang of handling eight boys, giving a lesson and actually having them understand it. I just have to know that Phil and I did what we were called to do. Phil hasn't received his new calling, but I have. Young Womens, Laurel Advisor. What the heck?! These girls are almost my age! I guess it helps that I coach 15 high school girls. This is what makes me nervous. I just got baptised and I feel like I am still learning. I don't really know what I'm going to be doing but I guess I will see. I know everything will be fine, I just can't help being a little nervous. I'll let you know how this Sunday goes.

December has already been pretty crazy and busy for both me and Phil. Since the mall is the hopping place to be these days, Phil has been workin a ton! It makes me laugh when people say that Pocatello's economy is "so TERRIBLE," because people drop TONS of money on really expensive clothes. Not only that but my brother works at Jensen Jewlers and they are always really busy too. We have it good here in our little Pocatello bubble, we just need to appreciate what we have. Anyway, now that high school basketball has started my schedule is also really crazy. We're talking an average of four games a week. Now, that may not sound like a ton but if you have already been at work and then go to four hours of games every night it starts to get to ya. I do love coaching though. Its a lot different being on the coaching side than on the athlete side. Kinda makes me miss it but I guess this is how I get my fix. My girls performed almost all of their competition routine on Saturday and they looked great! I'm so excited to see how they will do this year at competition. Speaking of competition, my little sister is on the Indianettes and they just got back from their first comp of the season and totally stole the show! They got best overall in their division to go along with many first place trophies. I'm so happy for them!
Well, I think that should do for my first real post. :) I think I'm starting to get the hang of this thing...
